DoJ’s John Carlin Wants The Power To Designate Tea Partiers As Domestic Terrorists And Criminalize Membership.

But federal prosecutors tackling domestic extremists still lack an important legal tool they have used extensively in dozens of prosecutions against Islamic State-inspired suspects: a law that prohibits supporting designated terrorist groups.

Think about that for a second. Do you really want a Hillary Clinton administration compiling a list of “anti-government” groups that are illegal?

Substitute “Pro-Liberty Groups” for “Anti-Government Groups” in order to get an accurate description of the majority of the groups that would be targeted by the liberal infested Department of Justice.

And to be clear, any knuckle-dragger wanting to blow up government buildings is a terrorist. But the DoJ needs to tread very carefully here… there is no moral equivalence between LaVoy Finecum and the San Bernardino terrorists. If the DoJ doesn’t have the higher level intellectual facilities to parse that out, then we’ll do it for them.
